Visual supports for "I feel" statements during the day and class. Parents, teachers, and caregivers: --Model "I feel" statements by pointing to and saying "I feel" aloud. Next, point to an emotion and say the emotion. --Prompt the child, "How do you feel?" --Guide the child in pointing to and saying how they feel aloud.
